Hi there! I'm currently working as a primary school teacher. I have over 8 years of experience working in education. I have been tutoring for the last few years and really enjoy seeing my students grow to their potential. Looking forward to meeting you and working on a plan to help your child work towards their educational goals.
I have many years of experience working with students with ASD, ADD, ADHD and various other learning difficulties. I have recently completed NSW Department of Education recognised training courses for working with students with ASD and also working with students with epilepsy.
As a tutor, I have delivered lessons and programs that have focused on a number of subjects. Some of the services I have provided include, but are not limited to: helping students to read, completing homework and assignments, improving grammar, improving spelling and writing, preparation for NAPLAN and other assessments, Mathematics (kindergarten to year 9 levels), Science, Geography and History. I began tutoring students whilst studying at university. I completed my Bachelor of Education (Primary) in 2017 and began teaching casually. Teaching in schools was consistent and I split my time between public schools in the Eastern Suburbs and the North Shore as well as Newtington and Claremont Colleges. During this time I taught across all year levels and all subjects. I accepted a full-time position at a school in North Sydney in 2018 and worked there until 2021. During this time I gained experience teaching Kindergarten, Stage 2 (years 3 and 4) and Stage 3 (years 5 and 6). Last year I accepted a position at a small school on the Northern Beaches and as well as my duties as a classroom teacher I have taken on the role of Digital Enablement Coordinator.
