Hi mums, dads and anyone else out there! My name is Aoife (pronounced Ee-fah!) and I’m an Irish primary school teacher who has recently moved to Sydney! I have 5+ years experience in the classroom and also lots of babysitting experience looking after my many younger cousins. I’m currently looking for some casual work while I’m getting set up. Willing to do any odd jobs, cleaning, shopping, helping with the elderly or working with children in any way. Some of my favourite pastimes are traveling, being active and spending time with my friends. As I’m new to Sydney I’m keen to try anything that can help you out! I have my WWCC and first aid certificate. I do not have my own car! Let me know if you’d like to know more!
I’ve had experience with babysitting for about 15 years. I’ve done lots of baby sitting with my younger cousins and family friends. These have ranged from 1 year olds to 10 year olds. It’s from doing this that I learned I wanted to work with children as a career and graduated as a primary school teacher in 2018. From there I’ve had plenty of experience with children of all ages in the classroom too. I love working with children and find it very rewarding to see them progress and grow. They also make great little friends and they always put a smile on my face.
As a primary school teacher with 5 years+ experience I would like to think I have good tutoring credentials. I’ve mainly thought in classrooms with children ranging from ages 7-10. I’ve never done private tutoring in Ireland but am very keen to try it out. I love to try and make learning fun and interesting! I really enjoy teaching English, maths and art and would be comfortable giving other subjects a go if needed.
