Special Needs Experience
I have two years of experience as a disability support worker with both children and adults.
Childcare Experience
I have two years of experience in the disability sector where I primarily worked with children with autism. I find that the skills I developed through this work, such as behaviour support and emotional regulation techniques, are valuable when working with children that do not have a disability as well. I also have experience babysitting my younger cousins and the children of family friends.
Tutoring Experience
While I don’t have formal tutoring experience, I have helped support work clients and my younger cousins with their homework. In high school, I volunteered with younger students that required extra support with literacy development. I have also played the flute for more than a decade and would love to assist kids with basic music skills and encourage them to practice their instruments.
