DAILY/EVENING/OVERNIGHT/WEEKEND NANNY AVAILABLE Hello families!! My name is Lily and I am a professional nanny and child care educator. I have over fifteen years of babysitting experience, four years of working in Early Learning Centres and Preschools in the Sydney area, and six years of experience working as a private nanny for families. I enjoy being a nanny as I can focus on giving each child in my care the absolute maximum one on one time possible, expanding on their interests and developing their strengths. I have worked with and am comfortable with children from birth (1 week old) to high school age. I am very passionate about teaching children, and have earned my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, and completed quite a few professional development courses. I am enthusiastic and bubbly, and I use my energy and singing skills to engage the children in my care to develop language, physical and social skills. I am particularly motivated in regards to teaching the children through their interests, as well as making sure a parent's goals for their child's growth and development is satisfied in the process. I believe children learn through play and experiences, and I have a brain that is hardwired for thinking up fun and engaging age appropriate learning activities. I am studying my final year of my Master of Teaching with a focus on TESOL and History at the University of Sydney and have completed my Bachelor of Arts at Macquarie University. I have an appreciation for languages and know a little bit of Russian and Spanish, and find that many children love finding out about other languages as well as figuring out how to get their tongues around the words!! My hobbies are singing, reading, going to the beach and swimming, and exploring new places. I am a traveller at heart and love to share my experiences with others, and find they also act as a catalyst for children's interests in culture, history and exploration. I am available for daytime, evening, overnight and weekend nannying and babysitting. I am based around Hornsby, Castle Hill and Parramatta, and would like to find a job within that sphere, though I don’t mind driving a bit further for the right family.
