I come from a large, close-knit family and have always cherished time spent with loved ones. Now that I’ve started my own family with a beautiful baby girl, I’m on maternity leave and seeking flexible work that allows me to be present during these precious early years. I'm excited to find opportunities to earn a little extra income while staying involved in my daughter’s growth and milestones. My background includes experience in both fast food service and a unique role at Tru Ninja, an amusement gym for children and adults, where I enjoyed creating a fun and engaging environment for all ages. Later, I transitioned into the childcare industry, a field I am truly passionate about. Building strong bonds with each child was incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to eventually returning to that line of work. For now, I am eager to find ways to support families and bring my experience to a flexible role that aligns with my current priorities. I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, along with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certification. I look forward to helping others while spending meaningful time with my daughter.
Since 2021, I've been working professionally in childcare, but my experience with children goes back much further. Before entering the childcare industry, I worked at Tru Ninja, where I enjoyed interacting with children during parties, engaging in games, and building friendships. Beyond work, I've also had the joy of looking after younger family members, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and siblings. At my childcare center, I was primarily placed in the 0-3-year-old room, where I developed strong, trusting bonds with both the babies and their parents. My calm and patient approach was appreciated, and I often received wonderful feedback from families, which truly made my work feel rewarding. I also occasionally worked in the preschool room, where I enjoyed connecting with older children, listening to their stories, and sparking their creativity through fun and imaginative activities. I find the most rewarding part of childcare to be witnessing each child’s growth and development, helping them reach milestones, and building meaningful relationships. Being a part of their early learning journey and contributing to their achievements brings me immense joy.
While I don’t have formal tutoring experience, I’m enthusiastic and more than willing to help children with their learning. My background in childcare has given me a strong foundation in supporting children’s development, and I’m confident in my ability to create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I’m committed to adapting to each child’s needs and am excited to assist them in reaching their academic goals.
