Hello parents and guardians, I am a fully qualified teacher from Ireland with lots of experience with all ages! I am a Maths and Science teacher with 7 years teaching and private tutoring experience in Ireland. I have 8 months experience in an international kindergarten in Vietnam, working with children aged 18months - 6.5yrs. In Vietnam, I also ran an English class for a small group of students aged 8-11yrs. I have also done a lot of babysitting in Ireland and regularly helped out in my family run daycare over a 5 year period. Special Needs Experience
I have worked as a teacher in the July Education Programme in Ireland, this is a programme set up by the government to provide extra support to children with special educational needs, including those on the Autism spectrum. The programme is an extension of the school year for these children with the following aims: Give children with complex needs the time and support they need to succeed in their education. Focus on a particular subject, topic or skill the children have found challenging. Ease the pressure felt by some families during the summer holidays. Provide an encouraging space for kids to learn and be social. Within the programme I have worked with children with a variety of needs including: Autism Down Syndrome Visual and hearing impairment Moderate general learning disability
Childcare Experience
Babysitting experience, ages 12months - 6years, over 5 years. Helping out in a family run daycare, 9 months - 3years, over 5 years. Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring Maths and Biology for over 7 years. I am a highly sought after Maths tutor in Ireland. Even after moving out of Ireland, my students have now moved to an online platform to continue with their learning with me. I provide one-to-one and small group tutoring classes for Maths, Science, Biology and English for a variety of age groups.
