Childcare Experience
I’ve been babysitting family friends’ kids for years, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with children for the past two years. I have a childcare pass, which has given me the opportunity to build more knowledge and skills in this field. I consider myself a kind, loving, and patient person, which I believe is essential when working with children. I feel comfortable working with kids of all ages, and I’m always willing to travel for work if needed. What I find most rewarding about working with kids is seeing their growth and development. It’s incredible to witness their personalities emerge, their skills develop, and their sense of wonder as they discover new things. The joy in their faces when they accomplish something or share something with me is truly fulfilling. Knowing that I can have a positive impact on their lives, even in small ways, makes every moment worth it.
Tutoring Experience
I’ve been tutoring family and friends for years, and it’s something I truly love. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping others understand something they once struggled with and seeing the moment when it clicks for them. Education has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve always wanted to find an exciting new way to help kids discover the joy of learning. After completing year 12 last year, I’ve realized how much I enjoy sharing what I know and helping others grow. I’ve always been drawn to subjects like English, writing, history, pe, and maths, and I love the challenge of finding different ways to explain things to make them easier to understand. I think what I love most about tutoring is watching students go from feeling uncertain to becoming more confident and excited about learning. It’s not just about the subjects themselves; it’s about empowering others to believe in their own abilities and showing them that learning can be fun and rewarding.
