back in Australia for a couple of weeks before I head off for more traveling. Second eldest of a family of six children I was very early babysitting through my neighborhood and later to support my university studies. I worked as an au pair over my earlier years summers and tutored kids for their science homework. Later I was also supervising uni student during my PhD and postdoc in Sydney and Canberra. I have lived in various communities and volunteered around. I'm very tidy, well spoken and enjoy play and learning with kids. I also enjoy helping elderly people and listen to their life stories and memories. I am a wonderful cook and enjoy outdoor activities. Speak french and english fluently and intermediary spanish. Would love to help out in adelaide while I am here to support my stay and coming trip. :) thank you
I really enjoyed caring for a child with ADHD, I haven't had other experience with special needs but I am comfortable caring for children with differences.
I'm the second of a family of 6 children, so I have learnt to look after small children from a very early age. I started babysitting my young neighbours every week at the age of 13yo and have been baby sitting and occasionally tutoring for most of my high school /early university years. I also spent 4months as an au pair in Switzerland looking after a fantastic 5yo who suffers from ADHD.
I'm professionally tutoring third year students doing experimental physics at my university every Fridays.
