Special Needs Experience

My most previous employment over the last two years was teaching in a nursery in the United Arab Emirates where I held the position of classroom teacher for the academic year 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The curriculum used during this time was Early Years Foundation Stage. Prior to moving to the UAE I studied in Ireland working locally in a variety of schools in roles such as special needs assistant, cover teacher, camp teacher and teaching assistant. I thoroughly enjoyed this work and have gained experience working with a variety of students from all backgrounds and abilities.

Childcare Experience

I would describe myself as an enthusiastic positive person who is focused and efficient while teaching ensuring effective learning and engagement from the students. During my studies in the University of Limerick I completed an add-on year to my degree and I studied Cooperative Education for a year covering all aspects of the English-style three tier teaching curriculum. I enjoyed this immensely and obtained full credits for my work. Tutoring Experience
