My name is Kate and I am a primary school teacher from Ireland. As you can tell by my chosen career, I have a huge love for children and I adore caring for them while having great fun. I worked as a nanny every summer during High School and continued this work during my studies. On completing my Bachelor of Education degree I worked with children from the age of 4 to the age of 13 in a variety of different settings in a variety of different schools. After gaining Australian Citizenship this year allowing me to offer further commitment to this field, I am looking forward to working with families to my services as a nanny here in Sydney.

Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children for over 10 years now. I began working as a nanny when I was 13 years old for a family of three boys each summer until I was 19. I then worked as a nanny in Vancouver for a summer. Since completing my Bachelor of Education degree, I have worked with children of all different ages and all different abilities in a variety of schools and settings. Since coming to Sydney, I have worked in numerous primary schools. I am enjoying it immensely hence want to continue down this path ever further.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring since graduation from my Bachelor of Education degree in 2021. I have experience with children ranging from the age of 6 yrs old to the age of 13 yrs old. I cover all curricular areas however, I mostly tutored children in English, Irish and Maths. I am currently homeschooling in Sydney which covers all curricular areas.
