Hi Mums and Dads, My name is Serina O’Brien. I’m an experienced Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood, Education and Care. I also have Diplomas in Child Psychology and in Autism Awareness. I have the necessary Working with Children Check, Police Check and First Aid Lev.4. Having successfully started and run my own family day care in Pakenham for the last two years, my husband and I have decided to move back closer to the city to continue our journey. It was quite tough having to say goodbye to the children and their parents after the bonds we formed. We will be moving to Hawthorn East by Monday 4th March 2019. I am passionate about seeing children develop and grow based on the Early Years Learning Framework and have seen first-hand how much positive influence I have provided in each child's life. I’m providing organic meals with lots of play-based learning activities throughout the day. I’m using Story Park to track the children’s development & learning outcomes. I’m open from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. You’re more than welcome to come over for a visit once we’re settled in! There will be a direct debit form to fill out as well! Please note that payments are normally two weeks in advance. Depending on your Child Care Subsidy Entitlements, the out of pocket will vary. Centrelink can clarify exactly how much subsidy you can receive. Most of the parents’ out of pocket costs are about $60 per child each day. Full rate is at $150/per day of nine hours and this includes the Head Office Service Fees. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns!
