Hi Families, I am a student looking to do some part time nannying/casual baby sitting! Growing up in a large family ignited my love for working with children, and prompted my employment at a Reggia Emilio style childcare facility. I now have extensive experience working with children from ages 6 months - 12 years old as well as a broad knowledge of childcare pedagogies. The specific values of play and creativity in order to explore independence is now instinctive to my care for children. I was often requested to care for children with special needs, I learnt how to adapt my care for the varied requirements that children may seek and formed beautiful relationships. I have worked as a part time nanny for a 1 year old and 3 year old, as well as having extensive experience in general baby sitting within my community. I consider myself a warm, fun, loving and creative carer, who genuinely enjoys being around children. Whilst I love to have fun, I am cautious of the safety expectations when caring for young children and will always make this my priority. I am competent in changing nappies, calming children etc and whilst I don't hold a drivers license I do know how to put on a good monster voice for a bedtime story!
