Hello families! My name is Ana and I am a young Spanish girl of 31 years old. I love sports, animals and nature. I'm very active and I enjoy activities outdoors. I also love cooking and baking. I grew up in a big family, I have two brothers and two sisters. I have always loved spending time with children. I have more than 10 years of experience looking after children of different ages and also tutoring primary and high school children. I was an Au-pair for 8 months in England in 2010 and then I have looked after 4 siblings during the summers. I have experience with people with disabilities, I have volunteered with with children and adults with different disabilities. I also have 5 nephews and nieces aged between 6 and 1 year old, so I also have a lot of experience with babies, changing nappies or feeding them. I have also babysat sporadically in Australia since I arrived 1 year ago. I am looking forward to finding a family that I can fit in during the summer. I am very flexible and open to clarify as much information as needed. Greetings!!!
I have participated in different volunteer projects for people with disabilities of different ages. One of the projects consisted of developing a therapeutic garden with children with Down's syndrome, teaching them how to plant and care for the plants until harvest time. Another of the projects I participated in consisted of bringing adults with different disabilities into the workplace, facilitating and promoting access to employment for these people.
I have been taking care of children more than 10 years, I have experience with children from babys to teen-agers.
I have been tutoring primary and secondary school children for the last 10 years, mainly in science and mathematics subjects.
