Working 1-1 with children who have special needs such as autism and Down syndrome.
I have over 5 years experience working with children from newborn to 13 and would love to become a big sister to another child/children. I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in and would love to have the opportunity to do that here in Australia. Here are my experiences: 🧑🧒Looking after children aged 3months + (including those with learning difficulties) 🐶Looking after pets 📚Private tutor for children and teenagers 🍴Cooking 🧽Cleaning/Housekeeping. I am more than happy to cook, clean, put the kids to bed, do the school run and whatever you need really! I love pets and more importantly I love kids. Last year I graduated College specialising in Exercise and Sports Coaching also attaining qualifications in Sports Leadership, Personal Training and Nutrition . I am currently taking a break from Education and am now on my gap year (yay!!). Whilst I was at college I was given the opportunity to work as a classroom assistant specialising in PE and teaching sport to children with special needs and learning difficulties. I started babysitting at the age of 13, for my little cousins and neighbours in my area, and have been doing it ever since. I was an au pair for 7 months living with beautiful family back in England looking after their 7 month old baby girl and 5 year old son. Whilst in college I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school aged 3-11 specialising in PE, and working 1-1 with children who had special needs and learning difficulties.
I was tutoring students from ages 4 to 6 during my time in college, specialising in English, Reading and PE (skills such as coordination and balance)
