Hi, I am a primary school teacher from Ireland living in South Melbourne. I have 7 years teaching experience working with children from the ages of 5-12. I also have 3-4 years experience of working at summer camps, some of which have been specific to children with additional needs. I am a fun-loving & bubbly person by nature. Special Needs Experience
In college I completed a module & work experience in a special needs setting. I have also taught multiple children in schools over a 7 year period with special needs.
Childcare Experience
I have been a teacher in Ireland for 7 years. I also worked on a summer provision course for 2 summers in a row where I worked on a 1-1 basis with children on the autism spectrum. I have worked mainly with children from the ages of 6-9, but do have experience with children from 5-12. I thoroughly enjoy working with children, helping them with day to day tasks, seeing them achieve goals and listening to their jokes and stories.
Tutoring Experience
I have been a primary school teacher in Ireland for 7 years. I have held my own after school ‘homework club’ for 6 years in the school where I worked. A selection of children from the ages of 9-12 would stay after school for an hour and I would give them additional support and help them with their homework.
