Hi mums and dads! I’m a primary teacher from Ireland who has just moved to Australia. I have over 5 years of primary teaching experience including some weeks in childcare centres and special needs centres. I am open to working with children aged 5 and above. I have a passion for art, music, drama and dance and I would be open to doing some art activities with the children. I have a dog at home so I am also comfortable with dogs.
Modules/classes in college. I also did some summer camps in a special needs school as a teacher.
I have been working with children from a young age as I’m part of a big family with younger cousins so I would frequently with children. I have been teaching for over 5 years and I would say I am most comfortable working with children aged 5-13. I have a lot of interest in teaching, tutoring as I find it very rewarding watching children’s confidence grow and seeing them achieve. I love the creative arts and have no problem partaking in art/baking activities with the children.
I have an honours bachelors degree in primary school teaching from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, Ireland. I have worked in MPETNS in Dublin for the last 3 years with 2 years experience as Special Ed Teacher. I would work with children with English as a Second language and many children with Dyslexia, Math difficulties, reading difficulties and confidence issues. I worked with these children in groups and on one to one basis so I feel confident tutoring.
