Hi there, I’m originally from Ireland over to Sydney and am a qualified primary teacher. Being the youngest of my cousins I have endless amounts of babysitting experience - from newborns to 13 year olds and have families back home who can provide references if needed. Being a teacher has allowed me to master the art of distraction when a child doesn’t want to leave their parents and have picked up various games which can be played instantly! Childcare Experience
I have a wide variety of experience built up at this stage - some of my families which I have cared for before include newborn babies, looking after 2 toddlers under 2; 3 boys under 6; 9 and 12 year old boys; 5,8 and 13 year old girls, while also including my teacher experience of anything between 20-30 kids of varying ages! I have yet to come across a child I couldn’t connect with at some level and make them feel secure and happy in my care 🥰
Tutoring Experience
I have been employed to help with homework back home with 2 separate children. One little boy had mild dyslexia and one little girl who I picked up from school once a week and helped her with her reading. I have been teaching for 9 years now so have built up a variety of methods to help ensure your child gains as much as possible from their work.
