Hello, my name is Ciara and I’ve recently moved over from Ireland. I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been teaching for the last 4 years. I have lots of experience of tutoring children and babysitting throughout the last few years. I also worked in a Creche every summer from 2015-2019 while in Uni working in the baby and toddler rooms and also helping run their summer camps for children from 5-12 years old. I adore working with children and would be very happy to help in any way I can 😀

Special Needs Experience
After my undergraduate degree in Ireland, I moved to Edinburgh to live there and work for 2 years. While there I completed a 2 year masters degree in inclusive education. I have a strong passion to support children of all needs and to provide them with the supports needed.
Childcare Experience
I have been working with Children for the past 8 years. I worked in Creche’s every summer while in university studying to become a primary school teacher. In this Creche I worked in the baby room, toddler room and the Montessori setting. I also helped run their weekly summer camps for children from the age of 5-12 and I supported the afterschool club on occasions too. I have been working in primary schools as a classroom teacher for the past 4 years full time and have loved watching children grow as the year progresses. I am very passionate about children being happy and safe and would love to help out in any way I can! I hold a bachelors of education degree and a masters in inclusive education.
Tutoring Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a masters of inclusive education and have a passion to support children of all levels, needs and abilities. I have worked as a classroom teacher for the past 4 years and I have also tutored outside of school hours. I have supported children from the age of 5-10 with reading, phonics and maths in particular. I am very passionate about English, reading and phonics and love providing children with the skills necessary and supports to guide and aid them in their learning journey. With the masters in inclusive education I take great pride in ensuring children can succeed by ensuring they have the necessary supports.
