Hello, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Social work and have a certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family intervention. My previous experience includes nannying for a family with 3 children between the ages of 3months to 7 years for 5 years long term. This involved transport to school and activities, engaging in imaginative play, preparing lunches and baking snacks for school, alongside light housework. Additionally I have previously co-ordinated an outside of school hours care program in which I cared for school age children. This included supporting children with ASD and ADHD in engaging in activities and emotional regulation. In my current role I work for the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing in Child Protection supporting vulnerable families with complex trauma histories. I am very passionate about working with children and families and love any opportunities to continue to build upon my skills and experience. Look forward to hearing from you!
I've been babysitting within my own family since I was 13 as I have lots of younger siblings alongside younger cousins that Ive had help get ready for school, bed, and look after on holidays. I've also baby sat for friends siblings when they've been unable to. I love working with all ages and have experience with both toddlers and teenagers and have found both to be rewarding and enjoyable.
I have experience tutoring my younger siblings in subjects such as english and maths and due to studying vce literature have a particular passion for english. Due to recieving an atar of 83 in year 12 I am comfortable helping out with studies.
