Hi families! My name is Charlotte, and I’m a 22-year-old final year student at RMIT University, studying Fashion Marketing. I’m a bubbly, creative individual with a passion for working with children and helping them grow in a fun, nurturing environment. I graduated from Lauriston Girls School in Armadale in 2020, completing the International Baccalaureate. I have over five years of experience caring for children aged 8 months to 12 years. I’m confident with nappy changes, bottle feeds, adapting to different sleep schedules, and creating a stimulating environment that meets the needs of each child, as I know every little one is different. My childcare style emphasises creating an engaging environment tailored to each child’s interests and needs. I enjoy organising hands-on activities, whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, or storytime. I also love incorporating learning into play and can support homework and academic development for school-aged kids. One unique aspect of my caregiving is that I’m trilingual, with my first language being English but also being able to speak Mandarin and Cantonese. I enjoy pilates, tennis, skiing traveling, playing with my pets, exploring Melbourne’s parks and spending time with my family and friends. I believe the key to successful childcare is communication and trust, and I’m dedicated to working closely with families to ensure their children feel safe, happy, and supported.
