Hi! I'm Cori, a fourth-year Bachelor of Primary Education student with a love for working with kids. As a sibling of four, I have plenty of experience in childcare. I'm a happy, bubbly person who enjoys creating fun and positive experiences for children. Whether it's helping with homework, organising activities, or just playing games. I'm also happy to assist with household tasks.
I have completed NDIS worker modules and hold a completion certificate, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to effectively support individuals with disabilities. My practical experience includes working as an allied health assistant with children who have various disabilities, providing specialised support to meet their needs. Additionally, I have worked as a support worker, offering personalised care and assistance. As part of my university studies, I completed a community service placement at a special needs school in Canberra.
I have about four years of experience and I’m comfortable with any age group. The most rewarding part of childcare for me is making a positive impact on a child's life. Seeing them grow, smile, and gain confidence is truly amazing.
I am most interested in Literacy but am equipped to tutor any subject. I am currently in my final year of my Bachelor's degree in Primary Education. My formal teaching experience includes placements over the past four years in Year 1, Year 3, and Year 6 classrooms. I love teaching because it is incredibly rewarding to see students learn and grow.
