Hey families! My name is Lauren and i’m 21, the oldest child of 2 siblings - my little brother is 17 (built in bestfriend). At the moment, I’m studying to get my Nursing degree at UniSA. I currently work as an SSO at a primary school along side working as an OSHC educator. Previously, i was a disability support worker where I supported ages 4 - 75 in daily living, healthcare and medication administration. Under my wings of experience, i also tutored children in years R-7 and worked as a barista for 5 years. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, camping, reading and spending time with my family & friends. I have a passion for working with kids, whether it’s simply looking after them or helping them with their learning. One day, I will be a paediatric nurse!! I look forward to meeting your family and helping create memorable experiences for everyone!!
I have been working with kids for roughly 3 years. During this time, i’ve worked with ages between 4 - 18. These children all had diverse needs, help and caring for.
I tutored for 1 year working with primary school children, mainly aged between 5-8 but i have experience with kids up to 14. I am strong in tutoring maths, english and spelling (phonics & word building for younger years). I have a ray of materials, and gained a lot of skills through working closely with teachers on academic plans.
