Hi! I absolutely love kids & have just completed my Master of Teaching (Primary) Education degree (specialising in English) at QUT, graduating in late December. I regularly babysit my gorgeous niece (7) and nephew (5) & frequently looked after my sister-in-law’s children when they were younger. "Emilie was absolutely incredible! She immediately clicked with my daughter and took the time to talk, engage and play with her at her pace. I was impressed with how thoughtful and prepared Emilie was as she took the time to ask ahead of our caring date what interests my daughter had and brought activities tailored to this. Although I was working from home, after seeing how Emilie interacted with my daughter I would have felt comfortable leaving the house with her in charge. I loved how fun and gregarious she was as a carer and showed no hesitation at jumping straight in to follow the imagination of a 3yo. Childcare Experience

I have looked after children for family members since my first niece was born in 2009. I am most comfortable with & enjoy looking after children aged 3 and upwards. I recently completed my Master of Teaching (Primary) Education degree in November 2023. Throughout my degree, during practical experiences, I have spent many weeks teaching students across multiple grade levels from Prep through to Year 6 within different school settings. I love educating children and particularly enjoy helping them with reading and writing, as well as completing arts and crafts activities. Prior to completing my Masters, I completed an Honours degree (graduating with First Class Honours & awarded a University Medal) from QUT in Fashion theory. I also have a background working in advertising/media, and a double degree in Business (Advertising & Public Relations)/Creative Industries (Media & Communication) from QUT.

I will be graduating with a Master of Teaching (Primary) degree, with a specialisation in English at QUT in December, 2023. In addition to my experience teaching within different school settings across years Prep-6, I have also had experience tutoring a first year subject in Fashion - Business & Theory within the QUT Creative Industries Faculty.
