Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children for over 10 years, primarily as a nanny for children of various ages. I’m comfortable working with both young kids and school-aged children. I love creating a fun and safe environment, helping with schoolwork and organizing activities that encourage learning and creativity. The most rewarding part of childcare for me is seeing kids grow and develop new skills and I enjoy bringing my interests in reading, sports, and crafts into my time with them.
Tutoring Experience
I have always been available for casual tutoring for the families I have babysat and nannied for. During Covid, this took a step up as I had the opportunity to homeschool the children from the family I was nannying for. I created lesson plans, assisted with academic subjects and ensured the kids stayed engaged and motivated despite the challenges of remote learning. I’m passionate about making learning enjoyable and relatable and this experience strengthened my teaching and organizational skills. Currently, I’m studying Construction Project Management, which has further honed my understanding of academic structure and discipline. I enjoy supporting students in academic growth, particularly in foundational subjects like language and math.
