Hi mums and dads! I’m a fully qualified Primary School Teacher who has been working in Ireland for the past three years. I have just recently moved over to Australia. Alongside my teaching experience, I have extensive experience in Temporary Nannying and Tutoring. First starting when I was 14 years old from the ages of 3 months to 15 years old. I love being outside and playing sports, I have worked as a summer camp leader since I was 17. I understand the importance of building trust and mutual respect with children in order to build positive relationships. I have a full clean drivers license and Working with Children check. Childcare Experience
I have been passionate about working with children for as long as I can remember, starting as a babysitter at the age of 14. As the eldest of 26 first cousins, I was often entrusted with caring for younger children, which deepened my love for childcare and sparked my desire to pursue a career in education. This hands-on experience has been invaluable in shaping my approach to working with children. Over the past three years, I have gained extensive teaching experience, working with a diverse group of students in a primary school setting. I have also had the opportunity to work as a summer camp leader, where I was responsible for organizing activities, managing groups of children, and fostering a fun and safe environment. Additionally, I have carried out July provision, providing targeted learning support during the summer months for students who need extra help. These experiences have allowed me to develop a wide range of skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and nurturing children's social and emotional growth. My background in both teaching and childcare has reinforced my commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where children can thrive.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring students for the past three years, primarily focusing on English and Maths. Throughout this time, I have worked with a wide range of learners, adapting my teaching methods and content to meet their individual needs. Whether it's simplifying complex concepts or providing additional challenges for advanced students, I ensure each lesson is tailored to support their specific learning style. I have also collaborated closely with families, maintaining open communication to track progress, address concerns, and provide guidance on how to support learning at home.
