Hello Juggle Street, I am a qualified primary school teacher. I have been studying and working in education the past 7 years. Roles I have held include class teacher, private tutor and camp leader. My experience of working with children extends over 15 years as I have babysat children of all ages from babies to adolescents.
As part of my primary teacher training, I took courses on special and inclusive education. From Sept-Dec 2021, I worked as a special education teacher in the school I was employed in. I have been the lead teacher in Summer programmes working with children with ASD and compex needs the past 4 years.
I have been looking after children of all ages for the past 15 years, relatives and local families, as a part time job. In Summer 2015, I flew to France and worked as an au pair looking after an 8 year old for 2 months. In Summer 2016, I flew to the Netherlands and worked as an au pair looking after a 6 year old for 2 months. In Summer 2018, I flew to America where I cared for a six week old baby for 2 months. I enjoy children and deem my interactions with them rewarding so much so I chose a profession working with them as a primary school teacher.
I studied the bachelor of education in primary teaching 2017-2021. I have worked as a fully qualified primary school teacher 2021-present. I have experience teaching whole class, small group and one on one. I have private tutored the past 7 years. I tailor these tutoring sessions based on the strengths and needs of the child/ children. I teach all subjects on the primary school curriculum. Typical subjects I would specialize in during tutoring would be literacy, numeracy, social skills and sensory/ motor skills.
