Hello everyone! I am from Ireland and I am a primary school teacher. I am fully available on weekdays. I am based in Coogee but I am willing to travel reasonably. I have lots of experience working with children, from my background in teaching, babysitting, tutoring and coaching sports from age 4 to 14. I am a very friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and a fun, reliable person. I grew up with three brothers so I am used to a busy household. Childcare Experience
I have experience working with children for over 10 years. I started with babysitting families living near me and then started coaching hockey in my club. I worked then in an after schools club, helping students with their homework and then playing games with them. I have taught in many schools, boys and girls and all different ages and abilities. I have also tutored primary level children, specifically in Maths. The majority of my experience is working with children aged 4-12. I think it is very important to create a happy, positive, encouraging and safe learning environment for the children to thrive in.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring for many years. To date, I have only tutored in Maths however I am available for other subjects. I have taught in many different schools as a classroom teacher in a primary school setting so I have experience in teaching the following subjects; English, Maths, Irish, Physical Education, Science, Geography, History, Religion, Music, Drama, Visual Arts and Social, Personal & Health Education.
