Hello, my name is Michelle and I have recently relocated to Sydney! I am a Primary School teacher and have years of experience in teaching children. I am very interested in sport and music. I worked as a coach/ team leader summer camps and also as a tutor for children with special educational needs. I have completed WWCC and Police check. I am located in the Clovelly/Coogee area but happy to travel. I have references available upon request and I am flexible for weekday and weekend shifts. My experience as a teacher ensures I possess the skills to help children develop in all aspects of their lives. I am also happy to contribute as a tutor to your children and I’m always on hand to help with homework or any subject your child may be having some difficulty with in school. Special Needs Experience
I trained as a primary school teacher in which we learned how to cater for the needs of children with special needs. I also have been a tutor for the last 3 summers for children with autism.
Childcare Experience
I have 3 years of experience teaching children from the ages of 4-13 in a primary school in Ireland. I also have engaged in babysitting with children from the ages of 3. I am a very energetic and friendly person who enjoys sport and music. I have acted as a team leader in summer camps and have tutored children after school for specific subjects they struggled in.
Tutoring Experience
I have tutored children between the ages of 6 and 13 in subjects such as English and maths. I used concrete materials for children to understand the main task and hand. I specifically focus on how the children learn and use this to aid my teaching.
