Hello everyone! I’m a qualified primary school teacher who has experience caring for children from 6 months old to 14 years old! I have experience with 1:1 and small group tutoring and pride myself on my ability to meet each child wherever they are at and provide plenty of encouragement and support! Special Needs Experience
I have a masters in autism studies and research! I taught in an autism classroom for pre verbal children for one year! I have experience working with children with varying additional needs (autism,ADHD and Down syndrome) and pride myself on utilising evidence based methods and best practice to help these children reach their potential!
Childcare Experience
I have experience caring from babies of 6 months old right through to children in their early teens! In the past my duties have included meal and bottle preparation,bao and bedtime routines,providing appropriate activities and play opportunities!
Tutoring Experience
I have tutored a wide range of children with a myriad of needs! I have provided support to children with both literacy and numeracy! I ensure open communication with parents to ensure shared goals are met by all parties! I have also tutored a gifted child. It was my responsibility to provide stimulating and challenging tasks and content to ensure he did not become demotivated.
