Hello parents and guardians! I an Irish girl who comes from a big extended family. I have two older brothers, one who is special needs who I’ve always helped care for. I am trained a high school teacher but I also have experience working in special needs schools with children from 4 years to 18 years old. I think helping my family with child minding and caring for my own brother lead me down the path of teaching as I like to think I’m caring and patient with child progression both academically and emotionally. I’m currently living in Bondi Junction with my partner. I am really active and love playing sports, swimming, reading and music. I love working with kids as I thinks I’m easy going, empathetic, fun and caring.
I have a high school teaching degree. I have a lot of experience working in special needs schools working with kids aged 4-18yrs old. Along side this my older brother has special needs which gave me first hand experience from a young age
Between minding children belonging to cousins, working in schools with young and helping my brother I like to think u have about 5 years experience. I would be most comfortable with kids aged 4+ and above but I am open to any age and to learn.
Coming from Ireland, I have two years experience tutoring students in Biology and science. I helped students prepare for exams and build strong study plans. In terms of primary school, I don’t have experience but I have the skills and education needed to apply my expertise into primary school tutoring. This expertise would also stem from lesson planning and teaching in special needs primary settings.
