Hello families! I am Hannah from Ireland, a qualified teacher who has also cared for babies and children from 6 months to 8 years in a nannying/child minding capacity. I have learned from the best in childminding, my mum who has completed it for 20+ years now. I take great pride in the relationships I create with the children I care for and teach, and pride myself on the creation and delivery of exciting, engaging play based activities at age appropriate levels. Special Needs Experience
I have been trained in many communication methods, and have worked with children with diagnoses of autism, as well as both mild and moderate learning disabilities.
Childcare Experience
I have worked with children from 6 months to 7 years, including teaching class levels for children aged between 4 years and 13 years. I have also worked with children with learning diagnoses and disabilities. I love to create positive and meaningful experiences and relationships with the children I care for and/or teach.
Tutoring Experience
I have tutored children privately in maths and the Irish language. Throughout my undergraduate degree I studied the subjects of English, Irish, Geography and Mathematics, specialising in Irish and Geography to degree levels. Throughout my Masters degree we covered all primary school academic curricular areas and indeed focused on pedagogies for each to ensure a positive delivery of the learning material.
