Hi everyone, I’m a primary school teacher and therapeutic play practitioner from Ireland. I’m new to Sydney and looking for work in childcare or education. I am First Aid trained in Ireland. I have many years of childminding experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I have dyslexia training and worked as a dyslexia tutor. I have provided extra tuition in maths and English. I have worked on, and run my own summer camps for both mainstream and children with additional needs. Special Needs Experience
I have worked as a teacher in a special educational needs setting (school and summer camps). I have provided private tuition to a number of children with additional needs. I have worked as a dyslexia tutor. I have completed many hours of CPD in this area.
Childcare Experience
I have around 10 years of childcare experience and have minded children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I am comfortable with all ages. I have a particular interest in play and the early years and have experience working therapeutically with children.
Tutoring Experience
I have around ten years tutoring experience and have taught English, maths and also worked privately with children with additionally needs. I have dyslexia training and ran reading groups for children with dyslexia. I am TEFL trained. I am a trained musician and choral conductor and have also taught piano for many years, both from my home and with a private music school.
