Hi there, I am an Irish Primary school teacher who has been living in Sydney for the past year. I have been working as a primary school teacher in Ireland for 5 years working with children of all ages including children with additional needs. During my time in Sydney, I have been recruited by GWS Sydney Giants AFLW programme where I have been contracted for the upcoming season. Part time work/once off babysitting along with private tutoring work suits me great to balance with my AFLW trainings. I am a bubbly, friendly and enthusiastic person who loves to keep busy. My hobbies are reading and playing sports. I love to keep active. I am based in Bondi area but I have a car to drive further. Looking forward to working with you.
My degree includes a special education placement along with special Education modules throughout the 4 year degree. While working in mainstream classes I have worked along side children with additional needs. I have also completed July Provision in Ireland which is 1:1 support for children with special educational needs.
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with experience working alongside children 5-12years in school. Throughout my time teaching I have also worked alongside children with special educational needs. I come from a large family with lots of younger nieces, nephews and cousins of whom I babysit and tutor regularly. In Ireland I worked with many students 1:1 after school hours to help develop their understanding of numeracy and literacy. Fully trained in literacy and numeracy recovery.
I have worked individually with students mainly focusing on numeracy and literacy development. Many students have found it challenging to catch up after covid 19 therefore I studied numeracy and literacy recovery alongside working full time.
