Childcare Experience
Since I was a teenager, I’ve been babysitting children of all ages in Ireland. This has been a mix of babies, toddlers and school children. I love working with children of all ages! For the past five years, I’ve worked as a primary school teacher, spending three years in the mainstream classroom and two years as a special education teacher. I have gained invaluable experience in these years of how to connect, bond and grow with children, understanding that every child is different and finding ways to meet each child’s needs. I really enjoy connecting with children and finding fun ways to help them grow. I’m passionate about teaching, so I’m always up for helping with homework or extra projects. I also love getting creative and spending time outdoors to keep things healthy and active!
Tutoring Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree and five years of teaching experience—three years as a mainstream class teacher and two years specializing in special educational needs. In addition to my classroom experience, I’ve provided one-on-one and small group tutoring for math, English, and general homework support. I truly enjoy teaching all subjects and am dedicated to helping each child develop their skills. I have a particular passion for teaching math, having completed my research project in this area.
