Hi Mums and Dads, I am an Irish primary school teacher who has recently moved to Australia. I have been working in an international school in Dubai for the last 3 years and prior to that I was teaching in Ireland. With lots of experience in babysitting, tutoring, teaching and even doing YMCA camps- I can promise your kids will be in very safe and knowledgeable hands, while also having lots of fun! I’ve also worked as a Special Education Teacher, so if you have a child with any additional needs and are worried about leaving them with a stranger or if you’re looking for extra support, I’d love to see how I can be of help! I intend to teach in Australia after the summer holidays, so for now I’m hoping to adjust to Australian life by helping out families with babysitting, nannying or tutoring and having fun with your little kiddos. I’m currently available both day and evening times and can be as flexible as you need! I look forward to meeting you💛
I’m a qualified primary school teacher who studied many SEN electives during my studies. I have worked as a special education teacher in 2 different schools in Ireland so I’ve gained much experience with a diverse range of needs including ASD, ADHD, selective mutism, Down Sydrome, echolalia- aswell as more academic needs like dyslexia, dyscalculia, MGLD and more.
I’ve been babysitting children since I was 16 years old. (Ranging from babies to young teens). I started teaching piano to children from the age of 18 while I was studying for my Bachelor of Education degree. I have been teaching full time for 5 years now and doing tutoring after school for children between the ages of 5-12yrs. I’ve always loved working with children, I’ve had many younger cousins too who I was always asked to look after. During summer holidays I’ve also worked at summer camps so my expertise range from leisure to academics! Working with kids is my livelihood, it’s what I’m good at- and I am completely comfortable with any age groups ranging from babies to young teens.
I’ve been tutoring during after school hours for the last 4 years. While I was in Dubai, I worked in an international school and was doing home- tutoring for kids of many different cultures. As a primary school teacher, I enjoy delving into many different subjects with kids. Most families that I have worked with have wanted to focus on English and Maths- I’ve previously tutored kids from Year 1 to Year 4 and am open to anything above and or below those ages within reason.
