Hi! I am a current Nursing university student, and have recently finished my Bachelor of Psychology. I currently work with children in the healthcare field, and have experience in a range of jobs, from tutoring to aged care! I am a shift worker and University student, so my availability can change from week to week. However, I’m always open to discussing options. I love children, and both my academic and professional experience has allowed me to gain the ability to work with children from a variety of medical, social and cultural backgrounds. I am confident working with children with ASD, ADHD, epilepsy, etc. I am fully First Aid and CPR trained, with a current Blue and Yellow/NDIS card, and National Police Certificate.
I currently work with children who have a range of diagnoses, including ASD, ADHD and GDD. I have worked on a special needs camp, particularity with ASD and non-verbal children. I also completed training courses for wheelchair accessibility and safety.
I currently work in the healthcare field 1:1 with children from a variety of medical and social backgrounds. Prior to this, I have been involved with tutoring of young children, and have experience in babysitting for families with young children. I find spending quality time with children so rewarding as I get to watch their confidence, skills and abilities grow and develop.
I have previously completed paid work as a tutor, facilitating online tutoring sessions based on the QLD primary school curriculum.
