Hi there! I'm Muskan, and I'm 21 years old. I'm a friendly and compassionate person with a passion for working with children. I have hands-on experience in childcare and enjoy helping kids learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. I love being creative, whether it's through arts, crafts, or outdoor activities. I'm always ready to lend a hand and ensure the kids have a fun and enriching time! Looking forward to connecting with my neighbours!
I worked with special need children involves a variety of tasks and skills to support their growth, well-being, and development. Ensuring that the environment is safe, structured, and conducive to learning or calming. This can involve sensory considerations, such as controlling noise levels, lighting, and providing sensory breaks when necessary. Using techniques to manage and guide behaviour, such as positive reinforcement, visual schedules, and clear expectations. Helping children with communication challenges express themselves, whether through verbal language, picture exchange systems, sign language, or communication devices. Assisting children in identifying and managing their emotions, which could involve teaching coping strategies like deep breathing, mindfulness, or providing a calm, supportive presence during moments of distress.
I’ve been working in childcare for about a year, primarily with children aged 0-6, which has given me a solid foundation in early childhood development. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers, and I’ve developed a strong comfort level in engaging with each group. I genuinely enjoy creating a positive, fun environment where children can explore and learn through play. One of the things I love most about working with children is how their natural curiosity and energy can drive so many learning opportunities. Whether it's through art, games, or simple conversation, I believe that creativity and play are vital tools for development. It's amazing to witness children’s growth, from hitting milestones to developing new skills, and to know that I’ve played a part in supporting that process.
