Hi there! I’m an Irish primary teacher and I’ve just recently moved to Melbourne. I’m from a family of 6, and have had plenty of experience babysitting my younger cousins. My goal as a teacher is to provide children with an environment in which they feel safe in and I aim to do the same with the children that are under my care.
I’ve been working with children since form the age of 16, babysitting cousins and neighbours children. The most rewarding part of being a nanny is the joy of watching a child learn and grow, knowing that I’ve played a part in their development. It's incredibly fulfilling to build a bond with them, see their smiles, and be there for them every step of the way. It bring me so much happiness knowing that they fully trust me. I then started my teaching degree (primary) when I was 21 and am now a fully qualified teacher who has worked with children through ages 4-13. I’ve also worked as a camp counsellor over many Summers both in Ireland and abroad in Canada.
