Heya parents (and guardians), I’m a recent BHlthSc (nutrition and psychology) graduate who works as a teachers aide for home economics. I grew up with 3 much younger siblings and have always been great around kids as a result. In my spare time I love to spend my mornings at a coffee shop with a good book or catching up with a friend. When babysitting I love taking kiddos with me for my morning coffee whilst they enjoy a babycino or drink of (parents) choice. I love being outside (hats and sunscreen of course) and finding new parks for the kiddos to enjoy to keep the day full of entertainment (you won’t come home to kids still full of energy 😂). I’m always open to what each family is after and their expectations for activities, working to find some suitable hobbies that the kids will enjoy. I’m more than happy to help with errands and general house needs as well as prepping up food for the day/week. I love cooking and involving the kids where possible and am happy to cook safely for any dietary/allergy needs your family may have. Josie :)

Childcare Experience
Well over 10 years. I find the opportunity to engage with children see their genuine appreciation and insight the most rewarding part of the job. I enjoy that babysitting provides an opportunity for each day (and really each hour) to be different. I’m experienced with all ages but primarily enjoy working with school aged children (4+) as I love to be able to get them involved in a variety of activities to keep them entertained, letting them provide me with guidance as to what they enjoy doing.
