Hello! My name is Wilhemena but Wila is what I’m usually called, I have grown up locally and am still living in the area. I work for northern rivers children services doing OSHC work, which is before and after school care at Bangalow Public School. I do afternoons there 5 days a week and mornings from Wednesday to Friday. As the hours are short and it’s a split shift I am looking for additional work throughout the day. I am experienced with children of all ages and love to hang out and get to know them. If you have babies or preschool aged kids who need care throughout the day whilst the rest of the family is at school or work that would be perfect for me as it would fit in well with my other job. I’m happy to help as often or sporadically as needed so don’t hesitate to ask me even for just a one time thing!

Childcare Experience
I have been working with children professionally for just under a year and have had babysitting jobs long before that. My job at OSHC consists of before and after school care for children whose parents work long hours and vacation care during the school holidays. I am in an assistant role which means that I am supervising the children, helping them with tasks and activities, making sure they are engaging in safe play, and joining in and playing games with them which I find quite enjoyable. We often have up to 30 kids at a time so I am experienced in supervising and managing the needs of many different children. Baby sitting of course involves many of the same responsibilities as the OSHC role with the addition of cooking and cleaning for children which I am very capable of.
