Hello, parents! I’d like to share a bit about my experience so you can get to know me better. I’ve been living in Australia for almost two years, and for a year and a half, I had the opportunity to work as an au pair for a Brazilian-Australian family. It was an enriching and transformative experience, both personally and professionally. As an au pair, I was actively involved in the children’s daily routines, helping with day-to-day activities, organization, and educational play. I also worked closely with the parents to ensure a harmonious, safe, and welcoming environment where the children could grow up happy and healthy. This experience taught me the importance of understanding each child’s individual needs while respecting their personalities and cultures, especially in a bilingual environment. In addition, I gained valuable skills in organization, flexibility, and empathy, which I believe are essential for childcare. Working with a Brazilian-Australian family was particularly special because it connected me to different cultural perspectives, something I truly value and see as an advantage when working with diverse families. I’m confident that this experience has prepared me to collaborate with other families in a responsible and dedicated way, always offering care and attention to everyone’s needs. I’d be happy to chat more and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for the opportunity!
I had the pleasure of working with a 3-year-old girl and a 2.5-year-old boy for a year and a half. During this time, I was actively involved in their daily routines, providing care, engaging in playful and educational activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and develop. This experience allowed me to build a strong bond with the children while learning to adapt to their unique needs and personalities.
