'A passionate and friendly young professional.' I first entered the care industry in 2017 through babysitting for young children in my local community. Further, these early experiences allowed me to advance key skills. For example, I highly value respect for clients/families, patience, a sense of humour, reliability, a strong work ethic and a comprehensive knowledge of primary health care and hygiene standards. Following 2017, my involvement in the community and passion for helping flourished. I selected to do my year 11 work experience at Lynden aged care facility. Moreover, I volunteered at the Through Road childcare centre as a part of my Duke of Edinburgh certificate. My most recent place of work was a café in Balwyn in which I helped prepare food and serve customers. Further, I have elderly grandparents who I take great pride in providing them with excellent care. Following my completion of VCE, I began my Arts degree at the University of Melbourne. In the future, I intend on completing a certificate III in Individual care. In contention, I would love to expand my passion for care and build upon my experiences with both young and mature clients. I promise to bring my bubbly attitude and a smile to any opportunity that arises!
I have been involved in the babysitting industry since 2016, in which I have provided care for multiple families in my community. My skills attained from this experience include cooking, cleaning, entertaining, patience, problem-solving, time-management skills, interpersonal skills, walking kids to school & bedtime duties. Further, I have provided volunteer work at Surrey Hills day care centre as a part of my work experience. I am keen to expand my passion for child care to a broader audience through Juggle Street.
