Hi everyone, I am a Social Care Worker from Dublin, Ireland. I am currently working as a teaching assistant and nanny in Melbourne. I have 5 years experience working with children aged 6 months up to 18. Experience working with children with additional needs, valid CPR & First Aid certs. I also have a degree in Psychology, and I have completed many trainings relating to the working with children eg. Therapeutic Intervention, Child & Adolescent Play Assessment, Dyadic Developmental Practice, Child & Adolescent Development. Childcare Experience
I have been a social care worker for 5 years. I have provided child care to children from 8 months old all the way up to 17 years! I regularly provided childcare for foster children during carer support groups as well as respite during the week. I am a very creative person and have facilitated themsd online children's fun groups with art, crafts and games. I have completed training in sensory regulation and I love thinking outside the box as to how I can make playtime fun and educational for children. I was also an Educational Support Officer in Ireland where I supported foster children with homework, exam and study tips.
