Special Needs Experience

I volunteered in India for two weeks and in Zambia for nine weeks looking after children with special needs. I am also a qualified children’s nurse, many of the children I care for have complex needs.

I have been a qualified children’s nurse for 3 years now. I have experience caring for acutely unwell children in Ireland. I have recently worked at the paediatric unit in northern beaches hospital. I have volunteered in India and Zambia with children with complex needs. I love working with children as every day is different and it is some of the most rewarding work I have ever done.
