Hello! My name is Caitlin Watts, and I am a 22-year-old psychology student at the University of Western Australia, set to graduate in June 2024. With three years of experience in nannying, I've had the joy of working with children ranging from 3 to 14 years old. My passion for childcare stems from a genuine love for being around kids and playing a positive role in their lives. As a psychology student, I've gained valuable insights into child development, which I integrate into my caregiving approach. Beyond my academic pursuits, I've served as a basketball coach for children at Methodist Ladies College and Presbyterian Ladies College, honing my ability to engage with kids of various ages and backgrounds. Caring, responsible, and reliable are qualities that define my approach to nannying. I understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. As an animal advocate, I not only adore children but also cherish furry friends. I've cared for pets ranging from cats and dogs to rabbits and chickens. If needed, I'm happy to assist with meal prepping and household duties. Outside of work, I have two beloved kelpies and a cherished old cat who bring immense joy to my life. I would be delighted to bring my enthusiasm and expertise to your family, providing the support and care your children deserve.
As I said before, I have done casual babysitting for 2 little girls in year 1 and 2. I also coach a year 3/4 and 7/8 grade team in basketball for 2 years so have experience in being in control and needing to be firm when I have to e.g bed time or listening :)
