I have years experience in minding and babysitting children of various ages between newborns and 12 years. Special Needs Experience
I have received a distinction in my special needs assisting diploma that I completed last May. In the primary school that I worked in I worked in the special education unit with children with additional needs. It requires individualized attention, patience and understanding To meet their unique requirements. I understand that there is care needs such as Healthcare / mobility / behavioral and development needs that I have experience in from working In the special education units.
Childcare Experience
I have experience in looking after children for 10 years. I have babysat my neighbors and relatives children since i was a teenager. While also caring for my 2 year old niece on weekends since she was 4 months old. I have experience with newborns to 12 years. In recent years I have worked in primary schools with children aged 5 - 12 as a teaching assistant while also looking after children with additional needs in the school. It is such a rewarding job because you have the opportunity to shape their development and make a positive impact on their lives. The childrens curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm bring so much so much joy to me.
