Hi Mums and Dads 🙋🏻♀️ Hello Mums and Dads, I am fully qualified in children's services with 15 plus years experience working with children aged 0-12 (also teens) in a a range of settings! I'm currently Available for casual babysitting Mondays & Fridays anytime, & Saturdays anytime. I’m also currently looking for a permanent job for Mondays for Nannying & im available to work all day so 8-10 hours on Mondays. All of my childcare work experience has included working with children aged 0-5 also ages 5-12 in a range of childcare settings including long day care and also OOSH centres with primary aged children. Most of my work has been hands on working with infants and toddlers 0-3 years so I'm also confident to work with the little ones! My Background experience working with children also includes some work with children with disabilities and additional needs; worked as a Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO) in a school for children with additional needs & also worked in a mainstream school assisting children one on one who needed support. I’ve also worked for a disabilities organisation as a career for children and adults with additional needs. This gave me a whole new perspective and allowed me to grow in my skill set in working with a larger scope of children with different needs and challenges; this has truly helped shaped who I am as a childcare educator, Babysitter/Nanny. I Would absolutely LOVE to meet you and yours and partner with you to care for your little ones and create a fun educational space for them to grow as well! I'm passionate about seeing children reach their fullest potential in every area of their development including their wellbeing - their wellbeing and happiness is important to me also as I'm sure it's most important to you! Looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you very soon! Thank you!! Warmest Regards, Sarah-Louise 😊
I've worked as a Student Learning Support Officer at Pittwater Highschool for six months as a temporary employee with students in years 7 to 12 who had batting additional needs and learning difficulties. I've worked for Share Care an organisation which cares for disabilities among children youth and adults over a course of approximately 6 months. I've also worked at Broderick Gillerwarna School in Revesby (over a span of about 1-2 years as a casual) with children who have various disabilities and additional needs. At both these places I've gained various skills and training on the job in work if with children who have various additional needs.
I have worked with children over the past ten years, including babysitting for many families and nannying for a couple of families. The children I've cared for over the past 10 years or so include children aged 1-12. I have prepared meals for the children, bathed children, put them to bed reading a story to them and patted then to sleep if needed. I have stayed over and comfeoted children when unsettled in late hours of the night and also taken children confidently on walk to the park and various mini outdoor adventures. I have often prepared craft experiences for children in the home environment as well as implemented various educational experiences with them including learning their numbers, letters and colours through hands on activities as well as lots of reading!
