I am a Bachelor of Speech Pathology student with a keen interest in working with young children. Having grown up in a big family of five children, 2 cats and many dogs, I am no stranger to fun family games and group activities. Children have always been my passion and I am looking forward to a fulfilling career in childcare and support. My hobbies include cooking, swimming, long nature walks and travel. I have got two years of experience in babysitting children aged two to fourteen. I also have lived in experience with young kids. I love integrating fun activities into my time with kids. This includes board games, playing in the park, walking the dogs and cooking fun recipes.Additionally, I have First Aid, CPR and NDIS disability support care training. I also have experience helping with homework assignments, reading tasks and school projects as well as helping out with tidying up or watching the pets. My job is to help wherever I can and wherever I’m needed!
Hello. I’m a dynamic, vibrant and dedicated 21 year old Speech Pathology student with over two years experience in babysitting. I have cared for toddlers, young children and tweens as well as kids of multiple ages at the same time. In addition to my tertiary studies, I’ve also got my CPR and first Aid training. When looking after kids, I always ensure to keep them engaged in various activities such as painting, board games, coloring activities, outdoor games as well as the use of toys and games. I can also assist with educational activities and household tasks if needed.
With over two years experience in childcare, I have a deep passion for caring and enriching the lives of others, especially young children. I find myself jumping at any opportunity to interact with children a safe, fun, and educational environment, whether that be volunteer work, babysitting or in my personal life. I have a profound passion for childcare and a burning enthusiasm for creating unforgettable experiences for young minds and I am eager to bring my energy and dedication to your home. My journey in childcare began with the delightful chaos of a large family, teaching me the art of patience, adaptability, and effective communication – qualities I consider indispensable in fostering a positive environment for children. Having served as a vacation and weekend junior counsellor for kids at my local church, in addition to my babysitting jobs, I have not only organized but facilitated a tidal wave of engaging activities that catered to various age groups. This experience not only refined my organizational skills but also deepened my understanding of the unique needs and vibrant interests of children. Watching children genuinely and fearlessly engage in enriching and enjoyable activities is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. I believe that we receive just as much positivity, growth, and fulfilment as the children we work with! I’ve had the pleasure of working with children of various age, including age 2 to 13 both individually and in groups.
