Hi everyone! I’m Jess, a registered nurse from Ireland with extensive babysitting and child minding experience, as well as First Aid and Basic Life Skills training. I love working with children, with hopes to return to Ireland in a few years and complete my masters in paediatric nursing. I also have experience volunteering with children, most notably as a volunteer with the Irish charity Barrettstown, an organisation which supports sick children and their families to experience fun and freedom from their diagnoses. I have excellent references from parents in Ireland which I am happy to provide!
I have been looking after children for 10 years, babysitting locally in my neighbourhood. I have more experience minding children 3+, but have also cared for young babies. I have young nieces and nephews, and small cousins that I have done some childcare for over the years in Ireland, which has included driving them to and from school, collecting them from extracurriculars, and overnights. My favourite thing about childcare is the fun there is to experience, and the freeing nature of working with children, how it brings about a sense of joy in the everyday!
