Hi, I’m Lily! I am living in Toowoomba studying a Bachelor of Theatre with a minor in Child and Family studies at Unisq, and I’m happy to help your family in whatever ways you need! I have experience caring for all ages and can soothe a baby to sleep even in loud environments. Childcare Experience
Growing up, I have always loved children.. I took playing with baby dolls very seriously. Being the youngest, I missed out on being able to care for younger siblings, but thankfully my busy mum was always hosting events, and many of her coworkers needed someone to watch their children at these events. I have been the Christmas Fairy at countless events and even soothed newborns to sleep while people danced to music in the same room. With older children, I’ve always been able to engage in any conversation and play that they like, ensuring that they feel seen and understood by adults. In my university degree, I undertook a course called Educational Drama, where we taught drama games and eventually formed a creative work with the year 8 students at Wilsonton state high. I find this type of work so rewarding, as my core value is that children of all ages deserve to feel safe, respected and seen.
